A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Provides illumination criteria for the design of new lighting systems and for the evaluation of existing installations and helps define the role that illumination plays in the gaming industry. Selected games covered include bingo, keno, race and sport book, slot areas and other casino games. Whilst special emphasis is given to surveillance and safety, surrounding circulation spaces are considered as well and major sections include objectives of casino lighting, design considerations, lighting methods, control systems, factors of visibility, methods of calculating light sources, maintenance, economics, engineering and a glossary of terms.
