Continuing the effort started in IPC-TR-580, this test report includes the results of Phase 3 of the test program sponsored by the EPA, DOD and the IPC. Phase 3 evaluates alternative technologies which will reduce the use of CFCs used in electronics manufacturing cleaning processes. This report addresses water soluble fluxes as the alternative technology. The testing was performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Indianapolis.
