This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the b-mode linear scanning ultrasonic diagnostic equipment (briefly diagnostic equipment) to apply 1-mhz to 10-mhz ultrasound waves from the body surface for the purpose of clinical diagnosis, with the exception of optic organ diagnostic equipment and such other equipment which is difficult to cover by the this standard.
