It contains a generic SRD template with guidance and standard SRD format. It is meant to be used as a guide to translate warfighter capabilities into acquisition requirements for a system or subsystem in any program Milestone (MS) or phase. The SE processes and principles found in this guidance are equally applicable to any DoD program/project. This handbook is for guidance only and cannot be cited as a requirement.
