Applies to low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies with rated operational voltage not exceeding 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c.. Applies to the partial protection against direct contact in cases when the operating devices are positioned close to hazardous-live-parts and these operating devices are actuated by minimum skilled or instructed persons.
