La présente Norme internationale présente une méthode de détermination simultanée des activités volumiques de différents radionucléides émetteurs de rayonnements gamma d'énergies comprises entre 40 keV et 2 MeV, d'échantillons d'eau, par spectrométrie gamma en utilisant un détecteur de germanium de haute résolution couplé à un analyseur multicanal. La présente Norme internationale comprend les procédures d'étalonnage et de détermination des efficacités du système de mesure en fonction des énergies, d'analyse du spectre et de détermination des activités volumiques des différents radionucléides présents dans l'échantillon étudié. Elle ne s'applique qu'aux échantillons homogènes.
