Die vorliegende Europäische Norm gilt nicht vollständig für: Rollstühle für besondere Zwecke, wie für die Verwendung beim Sport, Duschen, bei der Toiletten-benutzung; kundenspezifisch angefertigte Rollstühle; Aufsteh-Rollstühle und elektrische Zusatzeinrichtungen zum Antrieb von Rollstühlen mit Muskelkraftantrieb.
