Purpose of this NATO standardization agreement is to respond to the following interoperability requirements: (a) To ensure that the appropriate level of standardization of equipment, spares, tools and test equipment, technical documentation, procedures and training is achieved prior to mission, and (b) To provide a common Aircraft main battery charging procedure standard that meets the interoperability requirement detailed in CM(2006)0013 - MC 533 NATO Principles and Policies for the Maintenance of Equipment.
