Si disgrega il minerale con perossido di sodio, si scioglie la massa fusa raffreddata in acido cloridrico, si insolubilizza la silice mediante duplice evaporazione a secco della soluzione cloridrica della massa fusa e infine si filtra la silice, si calcina e si determina mediante evaporazione con acido fluoridrico.
