A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Defines tolerances and dimensions for film in rolls for use in photo typesetting or photocomposing devices, or both. Includes tolerances and dimensions of the films themselves, cores and perforations (when applicable) together with recommended winding configuration. Some other configurations are used presently in significant volume, and these are acknowledged as "recognized".
