Provides information relating to room air-induction units. This is a factory-made assembly consisting of a cooling coil, or cooling and heating coil, and means for delivery preconditioned air (received under pressure from an external source), mixed with recirculated air by the air-induction process, to the space being conditioned. It is usually designed for free delivery of air into the space. This device may also be designed for furred-in application, or for a standard cabinet as offered by the manufacturer, for application within the conditioned space. It does not however, apply to room air-induction units employing volatile refrigerant coils, or steam coils.
