AS 2188-1979 applies to magazines so designed that they can be moved as a unit and consisting of an outer steel case and an inner wooden box separated by a layer of insulation, which are intended to be used on construction sites or for long-term storage to provide storage capacity for up to 2500 kg of explosive of density equivalent to gelignite or cartridged water gel types.
