Provides detailed specifications for glass alcoholometers for use in measuring alcoholic content (percent by volume) of mixtures of ethanol and water. Appendices describe the procedure by which the alcoholometers are used and provide practical alcoholic-strength tables issued by the Commission of European Committees, and intended to facilitate determination of alcoholic strength by means of measurements taken with alcoholometers graduated at the reference temperature of 20 degrees Celsius.
