Applies to non-rewirable fuse-links (formerly known as Type B) in which the rated voltage is related to the rated current and, as under the conditions of use the prospective fault current is restricted, the breaking capacity test is made at a prospective current not exceeding 10 times the rated current of the fuse-link. Fuse-links of two grades, A and B, which will blow at two or three times their rated currents respectively, are specified for rated currents 250 mA and below.
