Sets out recommendations for the guarding and safe use of milling machines in the metalworking industry and includes requirements for machine design and installation; safe operation of machines; application , design and construction of guards and other safety devices; jigs and fixtures; selection, training and supervision of operators; and inspection and maintenance. Appendices include many illustrations of fixed guards, automatic guards, interlock guards and distance guards.
