1.1This test method covers the determination of the apparent density of granular activated carbon. For purposes of this test method, granular activated carbon is defined as a minimum of 90 % being larger than 80 mesh.

1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
