CONTAINED IN VOL. 10.02, 2015 Describes the evaluation and comparison of the resistance of solid organic dielectric materials to the initiation or growth, or both, of tubular tree-like channels resulting from partial discharge (corona) and molecular decomposition that occur in the region of very high, diverging electric fields.

1.1 This specification covers lap cement consisting of asphalt dissolved in a volatile petroleum solvent with or without mineral or other stabilizers, or both, for use with roll roofing.

1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
