A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Determines coal sizes from results of sieve analysis tests of samples representative of coal as sold. Applies only to natural continuous ranges of sizes produced by mining, crushing, handling, screening etc. with special mixtures, or where there is substantial deviation from normal gradation, a complete analysis to describe composition must be made following Method D 410.
