1.1This specification covers the chemical, mechanical, and metallurgical requirements for wrought and annealed or cold-worked and stress-relieved titanium-3aluminum-2.5vanadium alloy (UNS R56320) seamless tubing to be used in the manufacture of surgical implants. See Section 4 for size limitations.
1.2The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other, and values from the two systems shall not be combined.
