1.1This specification covers wall padding and padding for other indoor structures. All padding constructions are included. The intended use of this specification is for the qualification of construction designs and comparison of products.

Note 1:This specification was developed due to the numerous designs in existence and the need to provide a method to determine if a wall pad meets a minimum level of protection.

Note 2:There is no equivalent ISO standard.
