Orthophosphate by formation of phosphomolybdic acid, reduction to molybdenum blue and spectrophotometric measurement. Condensated phosphates by prior hydrolysis to orthophospate. Organophosphorus compounds by prior oxidation to orthophosophate and condensed phosphates. All three methods applicable to up to 100 μg of PO4 in up to 50 mL.
