NO CONTENTS SECTION

Describes three methods for assessing antistatic properties of plastics films. Includes charge decay, electroscope and field window methods. Test cannot be used for complete quantitative specification of the antistatic properties of particular films because it is not possible to predict behaviour at relative humidities other than that used in the tests. The classifications given refer only to the use of the film in packaging applications and in no way relate to the use of film under conditions where electrostatic charge build up can be dangerous.
