This British Standard covers: The material and dimensions of valve fittings for compressed gas cylinders used for breathing apparatus other than for medical purposes. Dimensions of valving capsules. An appendix containing recommendations for inspection gauges for the taper threads on the valve stems and in the necks of gas cylinders.
