Specifies the materials and dimensions for oval and countersunk head bifurcated rivets with shank diameters 2mm to 5mm inclusive.

This British Standard specifies the materials and dimensions for bifurcated rivets with shank diameters of 2 mm to 5 mm inclusive and with oval and 155° countersunk heads.

A choice of slot depths is given; a general purpose slot depth for use when joining soft materials such as leather, cloth, paper and soft wood, and a shorter slot depth for use with harder materials such as hardwood and thin metal.
