Describes requirements for rubber and/or plastics conveyor belting of textile construction for general use on flat or troughed idlers. Does not meet any requirement for fire performance or anti static properties and is not suitable for use in underground locations or in applications where similar hazards exist. Attention is needed in its application to ensure that fire involving the conveyor belt does not create a hazard. Does not meet the legislative requirements of agri foodstuffs conveyor belting. Recommendations for the minimum grade and thickness of rubber covers are given.
