Gives guidance and recommendations on the design, installation, maintenance and use of optical fibre emergency lighting systems. Applies to optical fibre emergency lighting systems for escape route lighting, including open area lighting. Also applies to optical fibre systems used for standby lighting when the system is also used as part of the emergency escape route lighting.
