Specifies a calibration procedure for application to tanks above 8 m in diameter with cylindrical course that are substantially vertical. Gives a method for determining the volumetric quantity contained within a tank at gauged liquid levels. Coverage includes: equipment set up and procedure; measurement of distance between two theodolite stations; procedures for external measurements; other measurements for tank calibrations; calculations and development of tank capacity tables. Also gives definitions, tables and annexes.
