Deals with a test procedure to determine resistance to peeling of joints between two sheets of bitumen-based roofing sheets, and for testing joints in mechanically fastened single layer bitumen roofing. Peeling characteristics of joints between two widths of bitumen-based sheets vary depending on material, jointing method (heat or flame welding, hot adhesive or bitumen, cold adhesive, etc), size of overlap and workmanship.
