Gives the mechanical properties of bolts, screws, studs and nuts - with nominal thread diameters, d, from M1,6 TO M39 inclusive; - with metric ISO thread in accordance with ISO 261; - made of copper and copper alloys or aluminium and aluminium alloys.

This International Standard specifies the mechanical properties of bolts, screws, studs and nuts

  • with nominal thread diameters, d, from M1,6 to M39 inclusive;

  • with metric ISO thread in accordance with ISO 261;

  • made of copper and copper alloys or aluminium and aluminium alloys.

It does not apply to bolts, screws, studs and nuts with special property requirements such as

  • corrosion resistance;

  • electrical conductivity.
