Provides guidance on the application of the test method specified in ISO 10294-1:1996. The method is concerned with the assessment of a fire damper to prevent the spread of fire and hot gases from one compartment to another. It is not intended for dampers used only in smoke control systems. It is applicable to fire dampers included in the air distribution system.
