Defines the nominal dimensions of wheel tapered on both sides, straight grinding wheel, cylindrical plug, flat end, cylindrical plug tapered cone, cylindrical plug, round end, cylindrical plug taper-roll shaped.

This part of ISO603 specifies the nominal dimensions, in millimeters, of:

  • Type1: Straight grinding wheel

  • Type4: Wheel tapered on both sides

  • Type16: Cylindrical plug, tapered cone

  • Type18: Cylindrical plug, flat end

  • Type 18R: Cylindrical plug, round end

  • Type19: Cylindrical plug, taper-roll shaped

These bonded abrasive products are intended to be used for deburring and fettling of any surfaces of a workpiece using hand-held grinding machines (straight grinder). The workpiece is fixed, the grinding machine is guided by hand.
