Defines the nominal dimensions of straight grinding wheel, straight cup wheel, wheel recessed on one side, cemented or clamped disc wheel, disc wheel with inserted nuts and cylinder wheel with inserted nuts.

This part of ISO603 specifies the nominal dimensions, in millimeters, of:

  • Type1: Straight grinding wheel

  • Type5: Wheel recessed on one side

  • Type6: Straight cup wheel

  • Type35: Cemented or clamped disc wheel

  • Type36: Disc wheel with inserted nuts

  • Type37: Cylinder wheels with inserted nuts

These bonded abrasive products are intended to be used for the grinding of any surface and regrinding of workpieces. The workpiece is guided by hand, the grinding wheel is fixed.
