Specifies requirements for loudspeaking facilities incorporated in apparatus for connection to a single exchange line or to systems connected to the public switched telephone network. Not applicable to apparatus for connection to shared service lines nor to apparatus for connection between a TJF of a PBX and the PTSN lines of a PBX. Only applies where the apparatus containing the loudspeaking facility also gives either the capability of associated handset telephony or integral handset telephony. Applies to apparatus for office, household and similar general indoor use. Includes appendices, tables and diagrams.
