Die Tasche dient dem Soldaten zum Mitführen des "Navigationsempfängers Satellit Zivilcode" (PlNr 6605 01910) oder des "Navigationsempfängers Satellit" (PlNr: 6605-01840) sowie eines Reservesatzes Batterien (jeweils 4 EA AA) und einer Kurzbedienungsanleitung. Sie kann am Gürtel befestigt werden, mit Hilfe des Befestigungsklipps am System 95 angebracht werden oder durch die Fädelgurte auch an der Trageausstattung Soldat im Einsatz getragen werden.
