FASC 3578 R La presente norma si applica alle unità ed alle batterie di condensatori impiegate generalmente per il rifasamento di reti a corrente alternata con tensione nominale superiore a 1000 V e frequenza compresa tra 15 Hz e 60 Hz. Essa si applica anche ai condensatori destinati ad essere impiegati nei filtri di potenza. Lo scopo della norma è quello di definire i principali termini concernenti i condensatori di rifasamento, formulare regole uniformi riguardanti le prestazioni, le prove e le caratteristiche nominali, formulare regole di sicurezza, dare istruzioni per l'offerta e l'ordinazione, fornire una guida per l'installazione e l'esercizio.
