    Die D-Festkupplung nach dieser Norm wird auf Armaturen and Stutzen aufgeschraubt. Sie dient zum Anschluss von D-Druck-Saug- und D-Blindkupplungen sowie von C-D-Übergangsstücken. Anmerkung: Soll für besondere Anforderungen (z. B. Öleinsatz, aggressive Atmosphäre, oder Flüssigkeiten) eine D-Festkupplung aus Kupfer-Zink-Legierung nach DIN 17660 oder aus nichtrostendem Stahlguss nach DIN 17445 geliefert werden, ist dies zu vereinbaren.
