Specifies requirements for rods made of thermoplastic materials as listed in Table 4, which are mainly used for the manufacture of finished parts by machining and comply with the technical delivery conditions specified in DIN 16985. Requirements for rods made of materials other than specified in DIN 16985 shall be agreed upon between the parties concerned, e.g. between user and manufacturer.
