Diese Norm legt ein Messverfahren zum Bestimmen der Temperaturfest, die in der Mitte eines mit Deckgläsern eingefassten Meissdias im Projektor entsteht. Mit diesem Messverfahren können reproduzierbare Vergleichsmessungen durchgeführt werden. Sie dient nicht zum Feststellen der höchsten Temperatur, da diese auch ausserhalb der Bildmitte liegen kann. Anmerkung: Dias ohne Deckgläser können höhere oder niedrigere Temperaturen als Dias mit Deckgläsern erreichen.
