    In dieser Norm ist die Kennzeichnung von Anlagen, Geräten und Leitungen für die Erstellung von Schaltungs- und Fertigungsunterlagen der elektrischen Ausrüstung von Luftfahrzeugen festgelegt. Anmerkung: Für die Kennzeichnung von elektrischen Betriebsmitteln in Schaltungs- und Fertigungsunterlagen, die nicht die elektrische Ausrüstung von Luftfahrzeugen betreffen, gilt DIN 40719 Teil 2.
