Specifies requirements for and methods of testing thermoset plastic linings mainly consisting of epoxy resins which do not contain any hydrolysable and saponifiable components. The linings, either in powder form (cf. DIN 55690) or liquid form (cf. DIN 55928-9), are applied at the works to valves and fittings made of grey cast iron as specified in DIN 1691, spheroidal graphite cast iron as specified in DIN 1693-1, or unalloyed or low alloy cast steel and steel and are designed for use in untreated water or drinking water supply systems at service temperatures up to +40degreeC.
