A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

Specifies requirements and methods of test for types L, T and M fuel oils for use in firing installations. Preheating of the fuel oils specified may be required for the purposes of transport, storage and combustion. The specifications given do not apply to marine fuel oils. The fuel oils specified here are not to be mixed with fuel oils produced from raw materials other than those specified in clause 2.
