    Indicates how the thermal resistance 1/delta z of materials of varying thermal conductivity, which are layered at rightangles to the flow of heat, is to be determined for the use in building practice. Homogeneous materials with top layers are regarded as multi-layered if the proportion of the thickness of the top layers to the total thickness is greater than 5%.
