Diese Norm gilt für Lastkraftwagen, Anhänger und Sattelanhänger mit Pritschenaufbauten, die mit Verankerungen für Zurrmittel (im folgenden kurz "Zurrpunkte" genannt) ausgestattet sind. Sie stellt Mindestanforderungen an Zurrpunkte, die in Verbindung mit geeigneten Zurrmitteln eine verkehrs- und betriebssichere Beförderung von Gütern auf Strassenfahrzeugen sicherstellen. Die Norm gilt nicht für - Fahrzeuge, die nach ihrer Bauart und Einrichtung ausschliesslich für die Beförderung von Schüttgütern bestimmt sind - Fahrzeuge, die ausschliesslich für die Beförderung spezieller Güter mit besonderen Anforderungen an die Ladungssicherung bestimmt sind. Solche Fahrzeuge sind z. B.: - Spezialmuldenfahrzeuge zur Beförderung von Coils, - Fahrzeuge zur Beförderung von Baustellenfahrzeugen, - Fahrzeuge zur Beförderung unteilbarer Ladungen, - Fahrzeuge, deren zulässiges Gesamtgewicht oberhalb der in Kapitel 34 StVZO festgelegten Grenzen liegt, - Fahrzeuge, die bestimmt sind, ausschliesslich in der Land- und Forstwirtschaft eingesetzt zu werden.
