Die Technische Spezifikation legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung charakteristischer Temperaturen für das Schmelzverhalten der Asche von festen Biobrennstoffen fest. Die für die Prüfung verwendete Asche ist ein homogener, aus dem Brennstoff hergestellter Stoff. Die Bestimmung erfolgt bei geregelter Aufheizrate in einer geregelten Atmosphäre.
