This standard is included in DIN Handbook 490/4. Defines the range of nominal filling volumes commonly used for rectangular, cylindrical and tapered general use containers of up to 30 000 ml nominal volume, metal thickness not exceeding 0,49 mm nominal. Applicable to flat top rectangular containers for liquid products, fitted with an aperture suitable for pouring.
