This European Standard specifies a method for high performance liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry coupling (LC-MS / MS) for the identification of tylosin, spiramycin, virginiamycin, carbadox and olaquindox in feedingstuffs. This method is useful for identifying low levels of tylosin, spiramycin, virginiamycin, carbadox and olaquindox in feed. A detection limit of 1 mg / kg for tylosin, spiramycin and virginiamycin, 4 mg / kg for carbadox and 3 mg / kg for olaquindox should be achieved following the procedure described. The procedure was fully validated in a collaborative study.
