Dieser Teil von IEC 61249 enthält Anforderungen für die Eigenschaften von kupferkaschierten mit E-Glasgewebe verstärkten Laminattafeln auf der Basis von modifiziertem halogenhaltigem Epoxidharz mit definierter Brennbarkeit (Brennprüfung mit vertikaler Prüflingslage) in Dicken von 0,05 mm bis 3,20 mm. Die Glasübergangstemperatur ist auf eine Temperatur zwischen 150 grad C bis 200 grad C festgelegt.
