This standard is included in DIN DVS Handbook 283. This standard is meant for use when the run-out accuracy of the moving parts of electron beam welding machines that comply with EN ISO 14744-1 are to be measured in connection with an acceptance inspection. It gives information on the procedure and apparatus used for making the measurements. Due to the great variety of electron beam welding machines, the scope of measurements needed for acceptance inspection purposes should be specified for the machine concerned separately.
