Dieser Teil der Internationalen Norm IEC 61300 beschreibt die Prüfung zur Feststellung der Beständigkeit von passiven Lichtwellenleiterbauteilen oder Muffen gegenüber Schlagbelastung, wie sie im üblichen Betrieb auftreten kann. Dabei kann die Schlagbelastung aus einem punktförmigen Schlag, einer Schlagfolge mit harten Gegenständen oder einem Schlag, wie er üblicherweise mit einem Fall des Bauteils verbunden ist, bestehen.
