Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 14756:1999, which defines the user oriented performance values for computer-based software systems. These values are applicable to tests for all time constrained systems or system parts and include execution time, throughput and timeliness. The complete text can be purchased from or viewed at the Sydney Information Centre of Standards Australia or at Standards New Zealand head office. Proposed as a joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
